Please put domestic mixed materials in Grey bags, that should be tied up and placed into the Grey recycling bin for Solid Waste (in Italian RSU). Food waste from kitchens or canteens goes in compostable-biodegradable bags, that should be tied up and placed into the Brown bin for Food Waste (in Italian FORSU) provided. Both grey and brown bins have a lid with anti stray animals closing and they should have the barcode stuck on. Please leave them in front of your property on public street, the evening before the collection days.

It is possible to use every kind of biodegradable compostable bags for organic waste. They should not be put in yellow plastic bags. 

Families using nappies for children, ancient and disabled people will be supplied with Violet bags, that should be put into the Grey
bin for Solid Waste.

You should require Violet bags during the door to door bags delivery or at the Waste Recycling Centre of Castel Mella.

Items of 5 kg maximum weight, varnish and paint pails or tins should be put outside your property on public street before 8,00 am on the monthly collection day, complying with the following rules:

Neon lights, Car batteries and Waste electrical and electronic equipment should be put in the Green bags provided;

Cooking vegetable used oil should be poured off in the Green Bin of 1.6 lt capacity provided with the barcode stuck on it.

All emptied plastic containers for food and beverage, cleaning and hygiene products should be put in the Yellow bag provided, that has to be well tied up.

The bag should be placed outside your property (on public street) before 6.00 am on the established collection day.

Newspapers and magazines, paper or cardboard containers/boxes of small size, as well as all Tetrapak items have to be pressed and tied up before you put them into small Cardboard boxes, Paper bags or into a Plastic bin of maximum 15 kilos capacity.

They should be placed outside your property (on public street) before 6.00 am on the established collection day.

All glass, aluminium and steel containers of small and medium size have to be put it in the Blue bin provided. It should be placed outside your property (on public street) before 6.00 am on the established collection day.
